Emotionally Healthy Discipleship – A Strategy to Multiply Deeply Changed Disciples and Leaders

Come learn the history and theological underpinnings of EH Discipleship out of its development over a 25-year period that came through the pain and process of church planting, growth, signs and wonders, following the winds of the Spirit, and searching for an integrative discipleship that would deeply change lives. Then learn the process, along with the nuances, of how to take your first steps to implement emotionally healthy discipleship in your unique context. Participants will receive a copy of Emotionally Healthy Discipleship by Pete Scazzero.

About the Host

Drew Hyun is the Founder and Pastor of Hope Church Midtown, as well as the Founding Pastor of Hope Church NYC, a family of diverse churches in and around NYC. Drew has also co-founded the New City Network, a network of urban churches that value multi-ethnicity, Spirit-filled ministry, emotional health, and mission.

Hearing the Voice of God

This pre-conference will explore the supernatural ministry of the Holy Spirit. It will include subjects like how God speaks to us, how we recognize his voice, and how we move him to speak to us. It will also include practical information on healing—like what promotes healing, what hinders healing, what are the most helpful ways to pray for the sick, and how to start and maintain healing teams in your church. It will also include hands-on practice times during the sessions. Participants will receive a copy of Why I Am Still Surprised by the Voice of God by Jack Deere.

About the Host

Jack Deere, formerly an associate professor of Old Testament at Dallas Theological Seminary, is a writer and lecturer who speaks throughout the world on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He is the author of the recently re-released Why I’m Still Surprised by the Power of the Spirit, and was a speaker at New Room Conference in 2019.

Women Thriving in Ministry and Leadership

Join us for an empowering and uplifting gathering for women in ministry or positions of leadership in the church. Rev. Dr. Carolyn Moore will be sharing insights from her new book When Women Lead and a panel of leading women in ministry will dig deep into the unique joys, challenges, and opportunities of leaning into God’s calling of ministry and leadership. Come to be filled and refreshed with powerful teaching, worship, and time for prayer and blessing. Participants will receive a copy of When Women Lead by Carolyn Moore.
