Join us for a short evening of worship, poetry and prayer to orient our hearts for Lent and move towards a deeper understanding of “A Jesus-Shaped Life.”
Lent, the season of the descent of the Son of God to the Cross.
Gather with us on Ash Wednesday (March 2nd) for an evening of preparation for the 40 days—to get in step with the Holy Spirit together, to prepare for a season of fasting and repentance and joyful realignment with the mind of Jesus Christ.
Meet us at the summit of the Mount of Transfiguration where we will behold Jesus together, Listen to Him, and prepare to descend into the glorious valley of the Cross.
Again this year, we will make camp around the ancient text from the Prophet Joel:
“Even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”
Rend your heart and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.
This event is free for everyone, everywhere. Registration is required so we can deliver:
