Fishy Business: Jonah Youth Bible Study

$4.99

Jonah is a five-chapter book. A book that has emotions, real world issues, and opportunities. Jonah is a man who followed God, was an evangelist of sorts, and was 100% human. He has a relationship with God, experiences authenticity and struggles, but the book also carries so much knowledge and growth for a Christ-follower today. Simply put, we can learn a lot from Jonah. The study will challenge you individually to pursue God and Christ in your faith journey. It is also a great tool to use in small-group discussions.

Description

The study is broken down into four (4) main sections and is offered as a printable resource you can provide to every student or simply use as a teaching outline.

Chat it Out is a section where the participant works through some intentional questions before reading the text. It is your time to get some thoughts on paper. You can refer to them throughout the study time.

Read it Out is the section where we dig into the Word (read the bible) and think through some key ideas or concepts while reading. When we open the Bible, God’s Word will never return void. It will provide growth and reassurance.

Talk it Out is the section where we reflect on the writing through some pointed questions for our thought and group discussion if desired.  Thinking about it is an integral part of our spiritual growth. Talking it out ends with a challenge to be done following study time. It is putting our learning into action. Action matters.

Pray it Out is the final section, where we spend time intentionally in prayer because seeking God matters. Often, we think praying is talking, but our rich moments are ones where we listen to God more than we talk to Him.
