The Bible is the most published, best selling, most consequential book in the history of the world. It is also one of the most complex collection of documents ever conceived of. As a consequence we see a multitude of “simple” approaches to reading the Bible. On the other end, we see many scholarly approaches to reading the ancient text.

The challenge comes for those who want something between these poles—more than Sunday School but less than Seminary. How can we read the Bible on its own terms and yet in ways that transform us at the deepest levels?

In this Wake-Up Call Live online event, J.D. The Teacher

JOHN DAVID (J. D.) WALT is a highly respected Bible teacher and prolific author, as well as being the founder and sower-in-chief of Seedbed and author of Wake-Up Call. Seedbed exists to gather, connect, and resource the people of God to sow for a great awakening. He serves as pastor of the Gillett Methodist Church in Gillett, Arkansas.
