About How to Cultivate Relationships that Sustain Awakening

Awakening moves at the pace of friendship. Behind the stories of awakening in the New Testament, and weaving through revivals throughout history, the attentive eye will see relationships—tightly-knit bonds between people and communities bound together by what the Bible calls “koinonia,” or fellowship. What if our relationships are at the very heart of awakening?

Special thanks to Mark Benjamin for his contribution to this resource.

Description

HOW TO CULTIVATE RELATIONSHIPS THAT SUSTAIN AWAKENING is a powerful booklet focused on helping Christians understand the central role that banded relationships play in seeing awakening sustained in local communities.

Part of The Awakening Library, a free suite of digital resources focused on nurturing spiritual awakening in the body of Christ (AwakeningLibrary.com), this booklet is designed to serve an experience of outpouring in your heart, home, church, and city.

For over a decade, Seedbed has resourced the people of God to sow for a great awakening in our generation. Birthed as an initiative of Asbury Theological Seminary, Seedbed has a deep connection to Wilmore, Kentucky and its legacy of revival.

Based on that experience and relationship history, Asbury University invited Seedbed to come and help pastor the overwhelming student response of the Asbury Outpouring (February 2023), which attracted over 50,000 people in person and touched millions online.

Drawing on the insights of leaders who banded together for 16 straight days to steward the revival, and their own learnings from years of ministry in their annual New Room conferences, Seedbed has assembled a collection of materials and stories to help individuals and churches prepare for outpouring in their community.

HOW TO CULTIVATE RELATIONSHIPS THAT SUSTAIN AWAKENING is part of that collection, and is available here in print for you and with bulk options for your local church.
