How to Experience God’s Presence in Worship [RECORDED WORKSHOP]

$25.00

Awakening movements have always been marked by honest encounters with the presence of Jesus—nurtured by songs of adoring worship. What postures of the heart can the worshipper bring to the moment of responding to Jesus, especially in the musical expression of worship, that open us to an even more experiential encounter with God in worship?

In this special 90-minute workshop, worship educator Dan Wilt, D.Min., with Brenna Bullock (Bristol House Music, Worship Director, Woodlands Methodist Church) and Josh Lavender, DWS (Director of Worship, Indiana Wesleyan University) explore how we as Christians can participate in the encounter with God waiting for us in worship.

Recording provided after registration.

Ministering to Jesus Through Songs with Dan Wilt, D.Min., Brenna Bullock, and Josh Lavender, DWS
A 90-minute workshop for individuals and congregations

  • Discover the joy of worship and what it means to minister to Jesus through songs
  • Walk through key passages that guide us to “presence-based” worship dynamics in our local churches
  • Be challenged to make your entire life an expression of worship

Awakening movements have always been marked by honest encounters with the presence of Jesus—nurtured by songs of adoring worship. What postures of the heart can the worshipper bring to the moment of responding to Jesus, especially in the musical expression of worship, that open us to an even more experiential encounter with God in worship?

Worship is a word that holds so much meaning for followers of Jesus. For thousands of years, worship environments have ranged from tabernacles and temples where the Spirit of God inhabits the praises of God’s people, to small and large congregations meeting in tents, chapels, and cathedrals large and small.

Through all of worship history, songs have held a central place in bringing the praises and prayers of God’s people to life, and coupled with beautiful and important liturgies, have formed the Church to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world.

Join Dan Wilt, Brenna Bullock, and Josh Lavender for this time of exploring what A.W. Tozer called the “jewel of worship,” and how songs—whether they be the hymns of Charles Wesley or the contemporary anthems of today—have played a major role in awakening hearts to Jesus.

Recording provided to the Courses area of your Seedbed Dashboard after registration.
