The majority of college students are not finding faith on campuses and are not inundating our local church communities with new disciples. There is much more to be realized when it comes to young adult faith and the university years. So, why should local churches get involved in this huge mission field of students? Luke 10:2 screams the answer—“the harvest is plentiful and the workers are few”—and we must contend for a more hopeful and faith-filled story for the next generation than we are currently experiencing.
If by the end of this little orange book you are not convinced that you are part of God’s mission to students and have concrete steps to move this vision forward, we have failed. Jump in and explore why the story of church and students is one that must be told, and how you are already invited to be part of it.
